What’s familiar around us can often be forgotten. The demands of our daily habits, jobs, and routines can make it difficult to slow down, even if only for a moment. Mountains and forests become landmarks like shopping centers and billboards; the rising and setting of the sun and moon become a standard.
In celebration of these forgotten treasures that blend into our routines, Backyard Treasures, is a collection of landscapes that I find in and around my Central Virginia home.
