Summer 2018
I release in nature.
I release in wind.
A lofty zephyr floating fragments of fear away.
A crisp Spring breeze carrying blossoms.
A type of forced release. Equally emptying.
I release in water.
In bobs and babbles
sliding downstream, down deep
into riverbeds lined
river rock smooth.
Into ocean
beyond crashing at shoreline
Moon’s pull on water in me,
a constant leeching, a brow seeping
I release in fire.
Crackling, sizzling water to steam in green wood.
I watch flames lick and lap night’s darkness.
A living creature
delight and danger breathing life skyward.
Emotions
embers like a thousand suns rising.
Rising.
